Okay...now that we are 2 games into the NBA Finals, I will post again. I figured that Miami would win game one but I did not think that they would collapse at the end of game two and allow the Mavs to come back from 15 points down with just minutes left in the game to ultimately win by 2.
The interesting thing is that the Heat will go to Dallas for the next three games before being able to take their talents back to South Beach again. I for one posted that the Mavericks would win in 7 but I no longer think that is the case. I am calling out both Jason's and Dirk, close this thing out as soon as possible so that we don't have to hear about the greatness of LeBron, the speculation on how Wade is taking the fact that this is James team now, or the horrible series that they are saying Bosh is having is all of a sudden. The media is killing me with their takes!!!

Well, well, well. The greatness that is the Miami Heat found a way to do exactly what Dallas is famous or should I say infamous for doing; choking down the stretch. After game one, we were subjected to hearing that the ringless Lebron is the greatest ever ad that the series was over. Funny it is to see the negative influence that James has had on D-Wade. I never thought that we would see an overly cocky Wade the way we did after that "dagger" three pinter in front of the Dallas bench.
What's even more amazing was the way Dallas buckled down and focused on the end and not that moment. Sure the premature celebration was fuel for that 15 point comeback, but I think the real motivation was for Dallas to establish themselves as lions instead of the proverbial playoff lamb.
So, we will see a more focused Heat team with Wade, Bosh, and James attacking the rim and stifling the Mavs with their trademark defense. However, if J-Kidd and Dirk take the fourth quarter from game 2 back to Dallas they will continue to make the "king" and his court look like jesters.
