Sports Questions?

Who are you picking for the Super Bowl winner this year?

Will the "Tebow Miracle" streak end soon?

With the NBA coming off of their lockout, will you support their league still?  Do you think that they may have lost many of their fans which  will ultimately  have a negative on their revenue?

Is Miami going to take advantage of the short season and win the championship?

Ok T4, I am going to say that my 49ers will make it to the show again and will once again become the team steeped in tradition. I was a complete nonbeliever in this team to start the season, but Coach Harbaugh has changed my mind. Even with a moron at QB, Harbaugh has minimized mistakes (offense) and maximized opportunities ( on defense).

As far as Tebow goes, I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ and know that HE great things and this is a prime example of that. Tebow is not a good QB but when you have the King of Kings guiding you, it is a breeze to play this game. Who knows if this streak will ever end. They may play the 49ers in the Super Bowl.

The NBA is back and I should be happy since I am an avid hoops fan, but I am not excited at all. On Christmas day, there will be a bunch of unconditioned millionaires going up and down the court. During the NFL lockout, players were working out and staying in shape in order to be as close to game ready as possible. I have not seen this happening in the NBA........and the Rucker doesn't count Kevin Durant!

The Miami Heat didn't have a problem playing together, they had a problem closing out games (Lebron) and figuring out who was going to be the leader of this team. The smart money on a shortened potentially injury-plagued season are the Knicks. Had everyone been healthy during the playoffs the Knicks would have made a serious run for the title.

I guess all I am trying to say is.........True Basketball fans are not overjoyed; they are pessimistic and peevedoffmbecause this deal could have been done before the NFL lockout ended. But what do I know, I am just one of the thousands of fans, who's respect the billionaire ball clubs will have to earn back.

The Super Bowl this year will be very interesting. While I will not count out the fact that Arron Rogers and crew may make a return, I still think that it is up for grabs this time around just as last year. The NFC is going to be tight with the Packers, 49ers, Cowboys, Giants, Saints, Falcons, Bears and possible Lions. I do however believe that the Cowboys, Bears, Lions, and Falcons will fizzle leaving either the Packers, 49ers, or Saints to make it to the "Big Dance".

The AFC meanwhile brings the Ravens, Patriots, Texans, Raiders, Steelers and Bengals, outside of those teams there conference is terrible. I am almost certain that the Texans, Patriots, and the Steelers are ready but do not sleep on the Bengals people. The Raiders and the Ravens are surviving but are not consistent enough for me to go with.

In conclusion, my picks are Packers vs. Steelers repeat with the Packers coming out on top.

Tebow Streak. I am no fan of T-Bow, but I like the fact that John Elway (BUM) and John Fox (Loser), basically went on record and publically did not support Tim, however his faith in Chirst and will to win has carried through. Looking at the Broncos remaining schedule, they can possibly win 4 out of the next 5 games. The problem with the Broncos is that there horrible offensive approach will eventually fail because John Fox is not coaching and when the going get tough, he will call the wrong plays and kill the game for them. Case in point...the Broncos were 1/2 a yard short yesterday on 4th down in overtime. Instead of Fox going for it and running like the Broncos always do successfully, he elects to punt to the Chargers. "Duh", only reason they won is because the Chargers beat themselves on the FG. Fox cannot coach and it will show in the playoffs for sure....ask Steve Smith.

NBA is back. I am happy that I can watch my favorite sport again, but the short season always sucks. The older teams will be the favors for the championship because they have the least amount of preparation needed for this run. Also, the short season helps the old veterans because there is less wear and tear on their bodies. The Lakers are excluded from this because they need to make some changes and they have a new coach to adjust to...this will not work. I am picking Miami to take it all with LeBron finally figuring it out.
