Keep on Moving!!!
Woah! Vick and Young are the QB's for the Eagles; Darren Spoals goes to the Saints. I am loving both of these moves. Now the Eagles just need to get Jackson to camp and off of the hold-out mission he is currently pursuing.
Yes, I think these moves are great for both clubs as well. The Eagles have done it once again; landing piece they need and not going after the sexy choice. This has served this franchise well since Andy Reid took over. I look for them to win the NFC East.
Now, the Eagles can only do it if Jackson comes to camp and enters the season ready to play. I understand that he thinks he is worth more than the $600k he is due to make this 7 month season, but considering that players just got done with a lockout and the fans that they appreciate so much make far less than that in three years; he needs to get his butt to camp. Sure looking at the other overpaid "professionals" in this league Jackson is worth far more money than that, but let this be a lesson to you who rely on agents to cut your deals make sure that your expected pay matches your expected or potential performance.
